Donor Policy
Guidelines for individual and institutional donors on the Gabriel Ng'ang'a Medicine Support platform.
Purpose of Donations
Every contribution goes toward approved pharmacy quotations for verified medicine support cases. Funds are allocated to specific cases, tracked through payment, and used only for medicine dispensing.
Who Can Donate
- Individual donors giving via M-Pesa
- Registered sponsors and institutional partners contributing on behalf of an organisation
- Anyone supporting a published, verified case that is open for funding
How Donations Work
- Choose a verified case and enter an amount (minimum KES 100)
- Complete payment via M-Pesa STK push to the phone number you provide
- Receive a donation reference and receipt once payment is confirmed
- Track your giving history when signed in to your account
Donor Options
- Contribute to a specific verified case or campaign
- Give anonymously or with public recognition on the case page (where approved)
- Receive email confirmation and receipts for successful payments
Transparency
Donors receive updates when medicines are paid for and dispensed. Case pages show funding progress, and financial summaries are published on our Transparency page.
Overfunding
Donations above the remaining case balance are blocked at checkout. If a case becomes fully funded while payment is in progress, see our Refund Policy for how concurrent transactions are handled.
Data & Privacy
We collect donor contact details to process payments, send receipts, and provide case updates. Anonymous donors are not named publicly on case pages. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Refunds
Refunds are available only in limited circumstances, such as duplicate payments or cases withdrawn before pharmacy payment. See our Refund Policy for eligibility and how to submit a request.
